Dear Washington Students, Families, and Community Members,

I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Washington Middle School. It is with great enthusiasm that I join this incredible community, and I am looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with growth, collaboration, and success.

First, allow me to share a bit about myself. I come to Washington with 14 years of experience in education in the EVSC, having served as a classroom high school English Language Arts teacher and, more recently, a Behavior Support Specialist for the district. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting students, building strong relationships, and fostering a positive school culture. I believe that every student deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, and I am committed to working alongside you to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Personally, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Michael, and our three sons, Andy, Gabe, and Easton. We love travelling, spending time outside, and completing home renovation projects.

This year, I look forward to getting to know each of you—whether that’s in the classroom, at school events, or simply in the hallways. Please know that my door is always open. I welcome your ideas, your feedback, and your partnership as we work together to support Washington’s mission of striving toward equity and excellence for all students by promoting accountability, respect, motivation to learn, and success in achieving our personal best.
